01

Intended use

Rod mills are evaluated where linear grinding contact and a more controlled particle distribution are important to the process duty.

02

Working principle

Rods inside the rotating shell create linear contact across the material bed. Feed distribution, rod charge, speed and discharge arrangement are evaluated together.

03

Role in the process

A controlled intermediate grinding stage between crushing and finer grinding or classification; its actual circuit position is determined from material tests and the product target.

Process integration

Engineered as part of the complete grinding circuit.

Feeding, grinding, classification, recirculation and product collection are evaluated as one connected process.

  1. 01Controlled feeding after crushing
  2. 02Rod grinding stage
  3. 03Screening or classification
  4. 04Transfer to fine grinding where required
  5. 05Product or recycle-flow management

Quotation basis

Price follows the verified process scope.

A reliable quotation requires material, duty and site inputs; a fixed price is not published without an engineering review.

Interactive product anatomy

Inspect the mill from the outside in.

Rotate the machine through 360° and inspect the shell, liners, grinding charge, bearings and drive train in transparent, section or exploded view.

3D MODEL COMING SOONThe interactive 3D model for this product is currently being prepared.Once completed, the model will be available here for full 360° inspection.

Engineering basis

Selection starts with process data.

Final capacity, motor power and dimensions are confirmed only after material and site inputs are evaluated.
