01

Intended use

Ball mills are evaluated for dry or wet circuits requiring a finer product, either as a stand-alone duty or in closed circuit with classification equipment.

02

Working principle

A ball charge inside the rotating shell reduces material by impact and abrasion. Speed, filling, liner geometry and residence time are evaluated together with process data.

03

Role in the process

The main grinding stage creating the target fineness after crushing or primary grinding, integrated where required with separation, hydrocycloning, conveying and product collection.

Process integration

Engineered as part of the complete grinding circuit.

Feeding, grinding, classification, recirculation and product collection are evaluated as one connected process.

  1. 01Feeding and controlled material transfer
  2. 02Dry or wet grinding circuit
  3. 03Classification by separator or hydrocyclone
  4. 04Coarse-fraction recirculation
  5. 05Fine-product transfer to filtration or product collection

Quotation basis

Price follows the verified process scope.

A reliable quotation requires material, duty and site inputs; a fixed price is not published without an engineering review.

  • Material grindability and abrasiveness
  • Feed and target particle distribution
  • Capacity and operating regime
  • Dry or wet circuit selection
  • Shell size, liner, grinding media and drive scope
  • Auxiliary systems, site layout, installation and automation requirements
